Which is better between AirPo pro2 and AirPo pro? Multiple introductions
Appl series headphones have always dominated half of the wireless Bluetooth headphone market, from a few years ago with slow updates like squeezing toothpaste to now with a rich range of products. The variety of product series is inevitable to be compared, and even one's own product series is inevitably compared by the public. So, which one is better to choose between AirPo Pro 2 and AirPo Pro?
Which is better between irPods pro2 and AirPo pro?
As a user who owns and has been using both AirPo Pro and AirPo Pro2 for a long time, I am still qualified to answer this question. Let's follow my evaluation and continue reading.
Product evaluation
First point: Appearance design
From the author's observation, these two earphones can not be said to be very similar, but they are identical. There is only one additional speaker opening at the bottom. If you don't look closely at the numbering codes inside the cabin, you can't even distinguish which one is the first generation and which one is the second generation. The continued design concept has always been supported by Appl. By making minor adjustments and modifications to the subtle details, it has become a new product. The stable design concept is also one of the important reasons why Appl has many fruit fans.Point 2: Comparison of accessories
In terms of accessories, the second generation has an extra pair of XS size earplugs compared to the first generation, which takes care of friends with narrow ear canals and is quite friendly to them. There haven't been many updates in other aspects, it's still the traditional USB-C to Lightning interface.
Point 3: Noise reduction effect
The new AirPo Pro2 adopts the next-generation H2 chip, which is officially announced to be about twice as strong in noise reduction compared to the previous generation. During actual use testing, in many complex and noisy scenarios, the two have activated noise reduction mode, and it is obvious that the second generation has much better performance than the first generation. Especially in terms of high-frequency sharp human voices and car horns, the noise reduction ability has been greatly improved.Point 4: Transparent mode
The second generation has added a feature officially known as "adaptive transparency mode", but in my opinion, it should be the transparency mode Plus version, as it adopts a more powerful H2 chip and has also made significant improvements in algorithm. After actual testing, the transparent mode still reduces the sound transmitted from the outside to the ears. However, there is still a significant improvement compared to the first generation, and the weakening of the first generation will be more obvious. In some cases, it is still necessary to take off the headphones to listen to people's voices.Point 5: Sound Quality Performance
For some audiophiles, it may be a bit puzzling. For a Bluetooth earphone, talking about sound quality? Of course, although the sound quality of Bluetooth earphones is known to be unsatisfactory, there are also significant differences in sound quality among different Bluetooth earphones.
However, the author believes that there is not much difference in sound quality between the first and second generations, and there is not much difference in mid to high frequencies. However, the second generation always captures the author's heartstrings in low frequencies, tapping each beat lightly on the appropriate drum beats. And there is always a feeling of a slight lack of momentum in the first generation. Not crisp enough. But the saying goes, in the eyes of ten thousand people, there are ten thousand Hamlets. Everyone's perception of sound quality is different, and here we can only elaborate on the author's experience.
